Finding Time for Yourself in the Chaos of Parenting

Most of the time I spend birthing Mamas in Tech is done between the hours of 8:30 pm – midnight. I don’t know about you, but sometimes it takes HOURS for my 3 and 5-year-old to fall asleep.

It can be brutal.

This weekend, I came across a Google Talk with Rachel Bertsche, author of the book “The Kids Are in Bed: Finding Time for Yourself in the Chaos of Parenting”. She mentioned a staggering statistic:

Working mothers in the 2000s spend as much time or more with their kids as a stay at home mom in 1965.
